Walnut Festival

The Walnut Festival is a tradition that I grew up with as a child. To me the Walnut Festival marked the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year, as I child I would go with my family as a teenager I would go with friends and now as a mother I take my child. Here we are years later and the Walnut Festival still marks the end of the summer and the beginning to a new school year, but I experience it in a new light. I watch through my child's eyes as he marvels at the carnival lights and watch the joy of him tasting the sweetness of the cotton candy or candy apple.

Giants Game

We are true Giants fans, and we want to make sure that Aj grows up knowing what it is like to be a good fan. What is a good fan? A good fan means that you stand behind your team no matter what, it does not matter if they win or loose you're there to cheer them on. On this day the Giants won and we were more than happy to cheer them to their win.

Aj got his very own Giants Build a Bear, ate a hot dog and got to run the bases.

Stan. Co. Fair

Is it truly summer without a fair? The smells of corn dogs the taste of lemonade, the sticky cotton candy all of these things to me are the simple reason why I love going to fairs. 

Day At the Zoo

This year we got a season pass to the Oakland Zoo. We get to enjoy the Zoo as often as we can, this trip we spend a lot of time in the petting zoo. The petting zoo was filled with goats and cats, the kids just wanted to spend time with the cats

Hawaii

Words can't explain how great our trip to Maui was, times like these don't come very often to our very busy family so when we get 7 whole days to relax and be a family we take advantage.
